"Music is the universal language of mankind" - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
In wake of one of the most tragic acts of terror in recent memory, the world has come together to show support for the 129 innocent lives that were lost on Friday, November 13, 2015.
Despite all of the horrific events happening in our world, there is always encouragement and hope. In times of great tragedy, good people rise up to shine through the darkness, and music is a useful tool to accomplish this.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, a famous author, once wrote: "Music is the universal language of mankind." His statement couldn't be more truthful; music breaks down barriers and brings us closer together.
The video below shows people of many races, ethnicities, religions, and backgrounds coming together over the song, "Hallelujah," at a vigil in Paris. There is nothing more beautiful than the right song, at the right moment. A song can lift our spirits, motivate us, or even smile with us when we're happy. Music speaks to us at a deep, emotional level, just as it did for the people above. It's poetry in motion.
At Candid Brilliance Music, we actively pursue the right song, for the right moment. We strive to bring people together with timeless, classical performances that speak to the heart and create lasting memories for you and your families. Our hearts go out to those affected by the acts of terror that occurred this past week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.
